Cheap airband receiver

    This should probably be in "bargain alerts" however I thought this forum would appreciate it more.

    Maplins have the Maycom AR108 for €65. Its very small in size and can store 99 channels.

    Its a very good price as the cheapest I could find it online was €120ish.

    I own that....its good ...but in saying that I only live less than a mile away from the airport!:p but for eisn_ctr and all it is ok, anything better is about 150 upwards...I would reccomend it. (I live in Galway btw)

    Thats not a bad one, I've had a bearcat for years and its still going strong. Only complaint is the battery decided to give up recently...

    that's a great little scanner, and that's a very good price for it (I paid about 90 online).
    You can pick up airband, marine and other freqs (the ISS is a favourite of mine).
