january update itouch not working after restore

    hi lads, the help needed is in the title, did a restore yesterday and have paid for the update for the touch, but the icons are not showing after a the restore, anyone have the same problem and can shed some light ?

    he means iPod touch. I read somewhere that they're attached to your iTunes account so you can sync them back on if you restore.

    tried but its not working rather odd, can see it in my account but it wont unlock it on my touch!

    anyone know how long it takes for itune to respond to a query?

    i dont think they have a phone number.

    I've been told I need to get them to reque the update for download! mailed over 24 hours ago but there has been no response.
