Vista Driver Updates

I only have my laptop a few months. Over the past few days it has been crashing at least once a day, a blue screen comes up and it says something about driver updates. Now I do not really know exactly what a driver update is, but I googled and a few sites came up, one being ErrorSmart.com that claims to be able to fix this.

I have only just got rid of Limewire (thanks to actorseeksjob !) so I am wary about downloading anything else that might be bad for my computer!! Can anyone reccommend where or how I might be able to solve my little problem!!??

    Thanks

ErrorSmart is a rogue security program that shows false warning messages. It also shows misleading scan results. More here. Do a full malware scan.

Also pm a mod to move this thread to the Virus and Malware forum, ASJ will sort it out for u

Sorry, I always thought the reporting post function was just for abusive/unsuitable posts. You learn something new everyday.

Nah, use the report post button to alert mods to anything that might require their attention. Better to use and be wrong then not use at all.

    Carry on...
