Considering a Projector for my PC

Hi guys, I really cant seem to find a area that is about Projectors/TVs and the like and seeing as this is for my PC anyways..

So, I'm thinking about getting a projector for my new PC. I will be (clearly) watching DVD's and some TV on it but its going to be mostly for my PC

So, I was looking through a German website someone recommended to me before and they seem to have pretty good prices so

Can anyone give me a recommendation on any of these? (on the left there is a link to change it all into English if its in German btw) I know there is a lot but basically I'm willing to spend about €1000 but to be honest I dont really want to spend that much. What I am looking for is value for money. No point in spending €1000 on a projector when spending €400 would have done and the real differance would have been very small.

So any thoughts? If you have any better places to recommend please do

I've been reading more and looking into them slightly more. Anyone have any comments on these ones?

    Projector 1
    Projector 2
    Projector 3
    Projector 4
Which one is HD ready and which would you guys think is best value for money. Or should I be looking at a different one?

I wouldn't use a projector for PC use. Obviously they're great for DVD's, TV, etc. but they're not the best for actual PC use and unless you're going for a 1080p one (around 3000 euro ish), your real estate is gonna be limited.

None of those ones you linked are native HD and they're all 4:3. Have a look at the panasonic AE900 for natively high def widescreen. I have the predecessor (AE700). Check projectorcentral.com as well.

You could consider the Panasonic AX200, it has a gaming mode, and I believe has gotten good reviews from gamers.

I bought it as my first ever projector, and think its great, although I am not a gamer.

Google around a bit for further info, and also checkout projector central for info also.

I actually think I came across some videos of it in action on YouTube also, so a search might be useful there too.

My 2 cents for what its worth from a projector novice !
