Its hard not to like Harry tbh! "Its no wonder he's in the f***ing reserves!" :) Done an absolute brilliant job at Pompy.

Haha classic... Does anyone know who the player in question was??

I'm a fan of Harry, tbh, has done a fantastic job at pompy of the last couple of seasons. Probably the best English manager at the minute?

I hate Harry Redknapp with a passion for all his underhandedness, dodgy dealings and the way he completely shafted Southampton. If only this board allowed me to express my true feelings about that horrible horrbile man.

Whatever about the alleged dodgy dealings, his shafting of Southampton, blah blah blah.

I hate him for making Jamie.

glad his team lost, and i hope they dont win the fa cup.
although, considering the competition, i suspect i will be disappointed.

Apparently it's Mark Burchill and he never played for them again

I detest the man but that video made me laugh.

It was rumoured to be Mark Burchill, but apparantly it was a youth team/reserve player who actually was nowhere the first team. That was always the excuse given for Burchill never making regular appearances under Redknapp, but i think his attitude was all wrong.

Redknapp is a love him or hate him type of guy. There are still plenty of people who refuse to sing his name at Fratton Park because he went to the "Scum". I'm not sure how he shafted Southampton any more than he shafted Pompey though.

I don't rate him too highly as a manager, certainly not in the class of Ferguson or Mourinho, but him and Pompey are good together and he is good at persuading players to make the journey down south and leave a glamour club for little old Pompey.

Whatever he has, it is working for us and for that I am glad.

I like your Minghella quote Fred, very true.

As for the video clip, I've seen it quite a few times, very funny though.

Lovely bloke, great human being altogether. Won't hear a bad word said against him.

    Oh wait, Harry Redknapp...

He was a Pompey fan. Shame he died before getting the chance to see Pompey at Wembley.

What he loved about Football was that in LA he was Anthony Minghella, Oscar winner etc etc. At Fratton Park he was just another Pompey fan and no one cared who or what he was.
