hi I haven't any first hand knowledge of the area, but my sister was there last Summer. she has no children and found it boring. So I think if someone with no kids found it too quiet, then maybe its a perfect choice for a family. I do know she said for nightclubs etc , they had to head into salou itself. Not much help i'm afraid, but mite give you an idea. Heading to salou myself in June with 4kids, but were staying in Cap salou, again away from nightlife etc.
    Enjoy.!!:)

My family went to sanguli capsite 3 years ago its great for the kids for that ages, food is good, lovely beeches, night life is good depends where you want to go.All the entertainment in cambrills is all inside the campsite. You have the best security at the park ,loads of things to do in the park eg,swiming pools, tennis, soccer, kids playrooms, nightly entertainment etc,you cant go wrong there.
dont miss PORT ADVENTURA theme park its brilliant as i have 3 kids they loved it.

    Hi,
We were there last May and are going back again this June as we thought it was excellent. It is only suitable for families though and even more so if kids are under15 or there abouts. Older teenagers / couples etc... should avoid it. Our kids are 7, 4 and 1&1/2. My opinion is that it would be great for you guys. I found these reviews the other day and they really sum it all up.

Basically, I would highly recommend it!
PS: Let me know if you have any questions e.g. flights, the area etc...

    thanks Elturko
how much did 2 weeks in june with kids (including campsite and flights) cost...
Did you stay in one of the chalets ... are the neighbours noisey... I'd hate to hear other peoples rows etc on hols.. Are chalets really close together..

I assume its Ryanair to Reus

    Hi,
The short answer is €1,550 for 11 nights (8th June to 19th June). That includes the flights (approx. €700) and the bungalow at the park (€847).

The park is flexible and they basically charge per night so you can stay for whatever amount of nights suit you best (provided of course there is availablitiy). My advice would be to pick your dates and, if they are flexible, play around with availability of the park first as it does tend to fill up quickly. Watch the "rate per night" also. For 2008: up to the 20th June it is €77 per night. After the 20th June the rate shoots up: €125 per night (21st to 30th June), €155 per night (1st July to 7th July) and to €185 per night for the rest of July / August. There are also "special offers" where you can get the park from 25th March to 7th June for €61 per night. This also applies for some dates in September etc...

Regarding the bungalows themselves, they are close enough and in most cases you get two of sitting almost back to back (but they are all physically detached). However, I really don't think noise will be a problem - unless you get really unlucky. They are fairly well equipped and clean, as is the area all around them.

Back to the flights, yes Ryanair to Reus is your best option as they fly in and out on a daily basis. If your dates are flexible it's cheaper if you can fly out or back on a Monday or Tuesday. Again play around with the dates for best prices. FYI (you probably know this already but in case not) watch the 15Kg baggage weight limit if you do book with Ryanair.

We rented a car last year but we're not bothering this year as I know the layout. Plan to get a taxi to/from the airport. Also, the beach and the main strip of bars / restaurants / bus routes etc... is only a 10 min walk away. If you do rent a car there is a €9 per night charge for parking at the park. However, the parking is free during the "special offer" period.

Feel free to ask more questions - I really don't mind. I understand what it's like to be able to bouce questions off someone who has been there / done that.

It's a great campsite, lots going on and very family orientated.
There are lots of good facilities and the shop/supermarket is very cheap which is unusual for campsites.
As a camper it was also the cleanest site I have ever stayed on.
