Audi independent service

    Hello all
I'm new to boards.ie and am wondering, could anyone tell me of an independent Audi specialist that they may have used, or can recommend.
I live in the west of Ireland and recently bought a 2002 Audi Allroad 2.5TDi. Have plenty of experience with main dealers of different marques with no after sales back up and who charge extortionate fees for bad service. Sound familiar??
I've no problems with distance, and would even consider travelling north or across water to find a good one.
Also if anyone knows of some parts websites I would be most grateful.
    Thanks again

There's a VAG specialist in Clarinbridge, small garage between the Oyster Manor and Paddy Burke's, just in beside the new shop.

Matt is the guy's name, can't recommend him enough. Like any good mechanic, he's generally flat out. Unfortunately I haven't got his number to hand, but he's normally happy to talk if you drop in with questions or queries.

You'll see his red NSX out the back if you're lucky. ;)

Try Fahy's in Oranmore. Ask for Tom. I would rate him as one of the best in the Country. I could be wrong but I think Paddy who owns the place has an Audi Allroad.

I'm looking for an independent Audi specialist near Limerick - to save me from main dealers extortionate labour prices. Appreciate any advice.
