    Hi

Can anyone suggest where I can get a free download of the above programme. I saw a link advertised in a magazine, but I can't view the data in the link, cos I don't have the programme installed on my pc.

    Thanks.

If you see any link for a free download of Excel (or the full Office suite) you can be sure it's a bundle of nastiness.

Microsoft usually offer free viewers of Excel, Word, PowerPoint documents and so on. Needless to say, this restricts you from editing the files. Try downloading the OpenOffice suite. It's free and is quite comparable to Microsoft Office.

Edit: Calc is OpenOffice's equivalent to Excel.
