Loved the gig. Very cool band. One 'Thank you' throughout. Loved the opener where the backing singers were 'yelping'.

Didn't play Stop you crying or Do it all over again but it didn't matter.

i heard they're actually playing in st. canice's cathedral in kilkenny as part of the arts festival there, around 16th august, presumably if they're playing there they'll have a big gospel choir with them.
did anyone else want to slap the heads of the yappers at tripod? complete muppets. it was still a great gig but would've been amazing if i hadn't been filled with the rage.....

According to posters over on thumped.com, a lot of peorple were given free tickets and they were the yappers at the back:mad:

yeah, the "yappers" absolutely ruined the gig for me. It was outrageous. These pricks were just there for a "night out", which is something you NEVER used to see at Dublin gigs.

Also, regarding Tripod... What's with the goddamn cleaners going in between the crowd with the mops and cleaning between people's feet? Imagine something like that happening at the cinema or theatre? And what a waste of time anyway... I was at Bon Iver on the monday and the floor was so tacky that you could hear people walking on it throughout the whole venue.

(I still like Tripod though :)

+1 on the mopping pain in the swiss roll
was at bon iver too, great gig but whoever set out the 'cabaret style' seating needs if not shooting then a stern talking to, why did they fill up the lines of seats all the way to the end on the left hand side you had to either walk right to the front of the stage then up the middle through a load of tables too close together or walk through a very small space annoying everyone to get to the middle to get to the seats, i'd say it was also a fire hazard too the steps from the bar area to the floor were blocked off with seats.
