spurs win 2-0 Bent and O'Hara, probably deserevd a draw up until the last ten.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,529 ✭✭✭Im_No_Superman

Nice substitution by Ramos bringing on Bent and O'Hara and the two of them score within 5 minutes. :)

Spurs looked like a top 4 team trying to break down a team who had parked the bus in front of goal.

isn't that an example of how NOT to play against Spurs? they've always been good going forward, but have massive weaknesses in defence... better to attack them

once spurs scored though pompy just looked lost.
good win for them though, especially as really they dont have much to play for. showed more ambition then pompy

    Watching Bolton V Man City.

Elano dropped after a string of poor performances. Ireland taking up the reins in midfield though :)

Great news on the relegation battle front.
Bolton, Fulham and Derby going down. Would have liked Newcastle to go down, but happy to see Reading and Sunderland looking likely to stay up. Brum are still down there, but wouldn't be hugely sad to see them go down considering how they treated Bruce.

Everton look to keep chase with Liverpool, Villa look to have given up.

Sweet+sour day for me, delighted for Keano to get a win but it looks like he has cost me €120 on my accumulator. :( Went for wins for Spurs, Boro, Blackburn, Villa and Everton.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,815 ✭✭✭Charlie

Great win for the Toon today. I was starting to get worried that we would get punished for not putting away so many good chances, but lovely set piece to consolidate the 3 points.

I said a few weeks back that Keegan's true test would begin when we had al these games against our fellow struggler's, and so far I am happy with what I am seeing. The 3 man attack is proving potent, and we are keeping the ball in the last 3rd alot more, giving the defence and midfield some room to breath.

If I were a Brum fan I would be getting worried. I was impressed with them when they played Newcastle, but they have to start picking up points.

Surprised with the Mackems with result today, but fair play to them, Villa park can be a tricky place to get a result

Everton 1 -1 West Ham. Dean Ashton with the equaliser, they've missed him.

Result! West Ham come good at the right moment. :)

Glad Newcastle won today, like Keegan, would love him to prove people wrong, sad to see Fulham loose though as would like them to stay up but not looking good, pity that Sunderland won today, they might just stay up now:(
