If you're just looking to practice, there's the United arts Club on Fitzwillaim Street. There's no course or instruction and you only pay for sessions you attend. Wednesday 8-10pm and Thursday 6-8pm. €10, settle up at the end of the night.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

The united arts club looks kind of private, you have to know people inside to eventually become a member
Do you know any course on friday evenings ?

Nope, not in the least. Knock on door, tell the girl over the voice thingy that you're there for the lifedrawing, enter, head down to basement.

Ok this url for the Life Drawing Classes and sessions has been mentioned http://dublindays.myhosting247.com but they also have a blog at http://trinityartsworkshop.blogspot.com/ so anyone who attends the classes can post their work if they sign up - posting is free of course once you are invited classes and sessions are (4 euro) Trinity students (10 euro) general public.. Check it out. All skill levels welcome.

For less formal free sketching but with a group there is also the Dublin Sketchers Group who meet up most Sunday afternoons more details here: http://dublinsketchers.blogspot.com/

    Hello Cork girl,

Although it's fairly relaxed and you can just drop in, it's still best to show up at the beginning of the classes so as not to disturb the model or other people trying to concentrate on their work, as you will need to find a space, seat, easel, set up with drawing board paper and drawing pencils/charcoals. Trust me this can be a bit awkward when you show up late. If you do miss the start try to show up just before the break which is usually on the hour in the middle of a two hour session. Timetable details here Trinity Arts Workshop Class Timetable Materials are provided, all skill levels welcome.

You can attend as regularily or as infrequently as you like.

    Hope that answers your question
