We plan to spend a few days in Brittany en route home via Roscoff end June. As a family of 2 adults / 3 children we'd like to find somewhere that has something for everyone - beaches, good food and hopefully some breton culture. Can anyone suggest some areas that are interesting?

Beaches: more and better in south Brittany
Breton culture: the further west, the more you find (inland is better, but you can't have everything).
Food: if you like seafood, just about anywhere in Brittany!

You might consider Concarneau. Nice town, fishing port, beaches, and lots of other nice places nearby to explore.

How far south do you want to go? I have friends who enjoyed this island on their honeymoon:

    Map included.
    Otherwise Quimper?

I would let myself be guided by Lonely Planet or Rough Guide.
