I'm building a website at the moment, for my photos.

I'm going to have some sections on it but I would like to link direct to the rest of my stuff on Flickr. Now I could just link direct to my section of Flickr but I have seen some very nice flash (and the like) displays for pictures that come directly from Flickr. Only think is I dont know where to get any really good ones.

I have one from http://splashr.com but its very slow and I dont think its as good as some of the other ones I have seen out there.

    Anyone know any better ones?

    Thanks

    D

simpleviewer and phpFlickr, there are plenty of straight forward details on how to set them up

google them and you should be alright...I use phpFLickr to link to my non flash section - thetrueview Sets - this pulls down all my sets and from there you can view individual photos...

and similar for the flash integrated into my site ...For the flash, I have a dedicated gallery that links to a flickr set...e.g for my latest set thetrueview flash

By the way if you get a chance can you tell me if my individual photos load fast? I only enabled the caching recently as before each click for a full size image did a read from flickr and was alot slower...I have only got to test this on this laptop and it seems lots far faster to me...

I use LumisGallery (which no longer seems to exist) on my site. It's based on PHP. If anyone wants the source code (which I've customised a little to fit the look of my site), then PM me.

m_stan, LumisGallery is very nice too. I'm just wondering as I dont know much (or anything really) about PHP, would I be able to customise this in Dreamweaver do you think?
