I bought a half dozen eggs on saturday and everyday since it has produced a double yolked egg. Considering its easter week an all I thought it was freaky.
Someone told me a double yolked egg is rare in its own right, but four in a row is beating the odds and suggested I do the lotto. I can tell the other two eggs are double yolked too. He thinks its some kind of miracle but i think maybe just the result of a very productive free range hen. Do I count my blessings or what?

    :pac:

    thanks

Probably fulfills some kind of prophecy, try asking in the religion or paranormal fora or something.

Or they could be from genetically modified superhens.

Then again it could also just be a coincidence.

Got told once by a wise old neighbour of mine that these are produced by young birds. So chances are, the container with lots of double yolk eggs is from a young flock of birds
