BT Voyager/Homehub WEP/WPA keys

    Its no secret default WEP/WPA key generation for routers provided by ISPs is poorly implemented.(for example Netopia)

    IMHO, it should be known that Its possible to recover the default WEP/WPA key from any BT Voyager/Homehub router setup with default settings.

    This is probably more of a problem for BT customers in the UK where many of these are in circulation, but AFAIK some are also used here in Ireland.

    Just to let people know.

    ...which has been known for quite some time now. IMHO security is way over-rated, I mean who on earth keeps valuable data on networked PC's these days anyway?.....Do they?...

    i like, totally agree, it was actually my friend, Emo who told me about it, and he is only 13.i mean, if he can find out, anyone can.

    yes, you're absolutely right, its way over-rated.
    nobody keeps important information on computers, its so 1980's
    its just too way out there, like totally.
