I thought I'd get a discussion going on great spy and war films
that you may not have heard of, but are really good.

    1. Ice Station Zebra

After a spy sattellite crash lands at the seemingly innocent
arctic weather outpost, "Ice Station Zebra" all radio contact is lost.

The crew of the attack submarine USS Tigerfish,
led by Commander James Ferraday (Rock Hudson)
are dispatched without explanation to investigate.

Also on board is a sabateur, who will stop at nothing to prevent
the truth and the crew from escaping the ice deep.

Cold War tensions run high in this great spy
story that leaves you guessing to the end.

    2. Shining Through

Melenie Grifith plays a bright and resourceful
legal secretary who is selected to travel to the heart of Nazi Germany
to discover the secret of a terrible weapon that must be stopped at any cost.

Who can be trusted? Who is the traitor? Who will survive?

So over to you. What unusual and non-blockbuster espionage and war films do you recommend?
