26" LCD selection Help

Having a bit of trouble making my mind up which TV to buy to got with my xbox. I done out a bit of a short list below of the ones I've been thinking of getting. Kinda leaning towrd the laptopsdirect samsung. If anyone could give me a bit of advice I'd be very thankful. cheers…

I am looking for a 26'' for my xbox too. I had a samsung 20'' but my friend liked it so I sold it them to buy a bigger one.
I like the first one. Its a good spec and looks good. Had my old samsung for 3 years and never had a peoblem.

I can probably deal with delivery delays and bad service as long as the price is right.

As with pretty much any online retailer, your mileage may vary. I ordered an HP server off them about a month ago and even though delivery was expensive, it was delivered next day (ordered on a Thursday, delivered on the Friday). I have never had that happen before with any UK retailer... So my point is, if the price is right...

I don't have a recommendation for a 26" TV specifically, but I'd recommend Samsung in general. Great overall...

I dont mean to hijack the thread or anything but I'm also looking for a 26' LCD for my bedroom. Main use's I intend it for will be my WII and SD (via Sky +).

I was actually considering the Panasonic

Mainly due to the good name Panasonic have and also the fact that the price has dropped substancially in the past few weeks (obviously due to newer models coming out soon).

I suppose my only question would be would this panasonic justify the extra few quids (above the Samsungs for example) as it is still a bit more expensive even with the recent price drop?

Ended up buying the Samsung from misco they have a .ie sit too but didn't have the tv on it. Costed £426 including delivery for the tv in the end.

The best 26' LCD TV's currently available are the Panasonic TX-26LX70L and the Sony 26T3000.
