Hi, I want to start out saying i know little about computers! Eh i bought a game yesterday for my laptop( packard bell) and the min requirement was 1.7ghz but found out when i got home my laptop is 1.6ghz. Is there anyway you can improve your proccesor or add to it, this could be stupid questions i dont know!

The 1.7Ghz minimum requirement applies to older single core processors, whereas your laptop, even if it is a basic Celeron M 1.6Ghz processor, is far faster then that.

However, if your laptop is so old that is it actually an old P4 based 1.6Ghz, then I don't know what you were doing buying a game so modern it requires 1.7Ghz as a minimum....the laptop would have to be years old...

What model is the laptop, that will explain all - and what game is it.

Have to agree. Try and avoid game purchases that max out your machine at the game's minimum specs. Runable, sure, but neither enjoyable, or good for your machine.

Should be fine, the more important requirement is the graphics card.
