tried to capture this cat down an alley in Dun Laoghaire tonight, freindly chap , which works better colour or b & w ?? -- difficult to get him stay still for 30 secs and zoom in with a 30 mm

Keep it in black and white. You maybe lose some detail, but you get a completely new atmosphere, dark and mysterial.

I think black and white - maybe mess with brightness/contrast a bit

Maybe a little crop to bring the cat closer? Or just convert the colour version you aready have. I don't mind both version (C vx.BW), but that colour one looks too red. Maybe some white ballance tweaking could help.

I like both, colour just pips it for me because of the water/piss.

i tried a crop on the cat, cause its a 30 sec exposure , the slight movements of a relativly fearless and still cat , become more visable -- impossible i guess to pull off properly , unless the cat remains motionless for 20 or so secs !!
