Yay someone doing a bigger tourney on a day other than the last or first saturday of the month. That was a farce having three €200 games in threes days last month and then none again for another 30 days.

Is the saturday 500 game instead of the 100 game or will there be two games running the same night?

I doubt it, they don't usually run any other games when they've got a monthly game on.

I really like the look of the new schedule. Will probably be in lots and lots from April on.

I think 500 might be too big for a regular monthly game but we'll see. Might have been a better idea to have the 200 game as a bi weekly event. I could be proven totally wrong though (and I hope I am), but personally speaking I will play the 200 game far more often than the 500 game.

The €500 game will crash and burn. That said, Alex and John are well aware of that fact but it wasn't their decision to run it - the powers that be upstairs insisted on a bigger regular game.

Personally, I used to play the €75 game, but was happier with the €110 game. Since saturday is pretty much my only free night I'll be checking out the other clubs around town instead of ponying up €500.

Well I agree that the €110 game is perfect for a regular saturday night tournament. Great structure on a non - school night. It will still be on two Saturday's a month don't forget! I would suggest that your alternative will be found in the €100 FO in the Fitz.

It is a 125 FO in the fitz on Saturdays, similar to the SE's normal Saturday game.

I agree although I'm not sure how they will fit the sats into the schedule. To get a decent number of Sat entries into a tournament this size would need a regular Super Sat every month or take a build up of 2-3 months of normal sats. You can't inlclude a ticket to this in the payout structure of other tournaments.

Hopefully it would get 30-40 runners though.

I would say Tuesday nights will be satelite night by the looks of things.

Perhaps 3 Tuesday sats will generate 9-12 tickets - will need to squeeze in sats for other games also obviously.

Time will tell. I'll be donating on a regular basis though - do all the NL cash loot :)
