Have a flight that's boarding at 0530 hours Wednesday morning. I have the boarding pass etc all printed out already.

Was thinking to maybe aim to be there for 0430 ...

What's the security like at that hour of the morning? Is it packed ??

No should be pretty quiet at that hour. I've often caught a 6.20am flight at easter/summer time and never had any significant delays at security.

If you are not checking in bags and its an EU flight then I find one hour before a flight at any time to be fine.

We went off to Germany last year and we were running from security to the gate!

Thanks for the advice lads, we'll aim to be there an hour beforehand .. given we have nothing to do but go through security and to the gate.
