I've heard from a number of people now that if you play day1a at the Irish Open and you get knocked out then you rebuy back in on day1b????

maybe its common practice with tourneys with 2 starting days..i dont know.. but would it not give an unfair advantage to the people that can afford to buy in twice..play really aggressive on day1a to try and accumulate chips to give yourself a better run at it and if it doesn't work out just buy in the next day

maybe BcB can confirm this or not cause I heard it off a few different people and i dont know if it's true or not

Shane, when you want to post an image simply click the icon 5th in from the right on the bottom row of options above the text box. Then stick in the link to your image being careful not to repeat the starting http//: bit.

I only write this because it took me 7000 posts before I figured it out. And this thread is going to be locked soon so somebody might as well learn something from it. :pac::pac:

lloyd are you implying you think there is some inaccuracy in the OP?

re the theme of this thread. I'd say it is very much against the rules to buy in on day 1a and 1b. I've no doubt that the highest of high rollers probably try it, and i'm sure there have been instances in other tourneys where it has probably happened, but my guess is that it is 100% against the rules and in a field of approx 2 x 500~ it'd be spotted very easily.

    basically, dont worry about it.

mistabutta, this is not true, and will not happen. You don't need BCB to confirm this. Any contributions that state the opposite are unhelpful and knowingly so.

I'm going to buyin once and split my chips between day one and day two. I'm always on a shortstack anyway and its the only way I'd ever last two days in a tourney.

    :p

Phew, if there was a rebuy option I'd have to go play another sattelitte very smartly indeed, very smartly.

A 4500 rebuy? was there ever a tourny with a rebuy that big. Can schitzsos rebuy with a doctors cert?

make sure you are writing in the HTML tab (there are two tabs on the top on the page where u write your blog post - pick HTML)

then get your video on you tube and in the info box there is an embed link. copy this link directly into your blog and the video then appears when you publish the post.

any other questions? ive loads of spare time on my hands.
