Civil Service Temp Summer Work

Hi,
I applied for this few months back and still haven't heard anything.

I applied for it last year and only got a letter in the last week of August to tell me my application was unsuccessful :rolleyes:

Last year I'd no experiance though. This year I have 6 weeks working as a CO in an office under my belt, so I thought I'd stand a better chance.

Anyway, basically just wondering if people are getting called for interviews yet? If so I better start looking elsewhere.

i know the summer term time work can start from June it would depend on what the circumstances if the child is in secondary school, it is 10 weeks, if it is in primary school 8 weeks

I wouldn't worry just yet. I know where I am they aren't even holding interviews until April. Then it will depend on the number of departments that have enough work to justify taking on a summer student.

It's probably no harm to keep your options open but things do work incredibly slow in the CS.

My friends little sister got her interview for the end of March. Hopefully you will hear something soon.
