Question : Importing games for/against ?

    right so we all know you can import blu rays

    BUT my friend bought an american version of warhawk and when he downloaded the omega dawn dlc it woulnt work with the american version !

    my friend also has an american call of duty 4 and he can only play on american servers. this means i also cant play with him

    my qustion is this, do incompatiblity issues arise often or is this unique to warhawk and cod4 ?

    also many of you have experiance with the website videogamesplus.ca are their games pal or us?

    im trying to buy burnout atm so i need to know soon !

    i have the european cod4 and regularly play against loads of americans, so i dont buy that they can only play on american servers for a second

    They're US, but all ps3 games are region free so they'll work on a PAL console.

    well there has been a patch since then and we havent tryed since.
    and tbh i havent played it in ages

    thats probably what it was

    the americans got their patch waaaay in advance of us, so your mate probably had the updated version while you had the incompatible older one

    One of ,my mates has the euro version and I've the US version and I've played with him.

    Yeah the COD4 issue has been sorted. I had the US version of the game and couldn't join EU games until everyone was running the same version. It finally got sorted and there's been another patch released since.

    I wasn't aware of the warhawk issue.

    Any games I import come from videogamesplus.ca
