Nice list , and the parts will certainly do the job, I dont see a hard drive though , and what are you planning on running , Vista or XP MCE , or just plain old XP ?

If its Vista , you may want to add another gig of memory.

And if you are looking at running any version of MCE you will want an MCE remote as well.

Either Vista home premium or Ultimate, or XP MCE will give you a nice big interface for your TV that will let you select all your vids from a nice interface with the MCE remote , instead of navigating through explorer with your keyboard.

    Thanks,

Ye ill be afdding a 500GB Sata drive that im goin to take out of my pc now, will be running Vista Ultimate 32bit, will get 2 gb or ram for it.

I dont know about running media centre due to the fact it doesnt seem to support HD xvids, can you control Vista with the remote??

    Thanks again

Erm ... Im pretty sure Vista will play HD Xvids , all you need is the right codec , and that would be a H264 one right ?

So , should be no problem , .....

Failing that , splash out 30 euro on the latest PowerDVD and it definitely will , you can get media center to use powerdvd as the default player.
Thats what Im doing myself !

Looks good, one thing I would point out is again your memory is extremely expensive and is designed for overclocked systems. If your not overclocking I would go for the A-DATA 2gb kit, which is only 4 euro more but you get an extra full gb.

I just ordered a very similar system which should be delivered later this week :). You can view my configuration here.

Oh and btw I already own this remote which is very good and easy to set up and has lot of programmable functions. It works with media centre and any tv/game console/set-top box

And I also own this keyboard, which is expensive but is also sweet if you can afford it. Very thin and light and the battery lasts weeks at a time.
