    So...

Who's forced to work? and What line of work has you working today?

Is it as Busy or as Quiet as normal? Do you get anything special?

Choice of working it or getting it off. If you work it, its only a five hour day and you get a nine hour day off in turn for it.
Its car sales and I'd say its going to be dead!

I'll post on behalf of my wife if that's ok.

14 Hour shift yesterday, back in at 7am this morning and expected home tonight at around 10pm. She's a graphic designer for a newspaper and today being print day, they're up the walls.

Seeing as retailers can't reply, due to being on the shop floor, I'd like to big them up as I was just able to buy some butter and a nice cake for me mam. I salute you, oh paddys day workers.

I work in IT for a global financial company. It's about average-still have people in the rest of Europe and the States looking for help. Not getting paid but getting 2 extra days holidays in lieu

i saw on the news earlier that loads of staff in stockbrokers were called in to work to cope with the massive sell-off of shares due to the bear sterns bank crisis.

have we any finance workers here who were dragged in to work this morning? most likely with serious hang-overs......

Know the feeling. This morning was like usual, minus any Irish people. Still got calls from the UK, Middle East, Germany, the Netherlands, and a few other countries. All in all, a usual Monday.

agent smith what's it like down there.
