Hey, I did it. It's easy enough but it wasn't for me. I just found it terribly pointless so have now dropped out before first year is even over. If you care about economics and marketing and that jazz then you'll enjoy it.

I'm in final year business studies now...

I would definitely recommend the course... but then again will it be useful to you to persue the job you want when you finish the degree?

The majority of the modules are manageable... if you do the work you'll get the grades... I hate a particular dislike to all the economics modules... they were a total and utter pain but other than that the others were ok.

There are a few marketing modules as well... they usually involve doing presentations in front of the class(some with a group, some on your own) which can be a bit daunting at first but you get used to them... they can be great for a bring out confidence in shy people.

As regards the class we all gelled pretty well... the business studies course always has a great social side to it... class parties every week and sometimes there will be 2 or 3 in the week... and all the people are fairly down to earth.

So all in all I would defo recommend the course for you... you'll love it (except for the hours spent in the library) :)

you'll find that with the business course you will be with the whole of the business degree class for some modules and divided up for your chosen modules.

I think everyone usually has to do some marketing modules.. these usually involve the presentation... but they are nothing to fear about at all... everyone gets a bit nervous about them.. but as soon as you have to start talking you notice that nobody is really listening.. and anyway everyone in the class has to do it so your all in the same boat.

The biggest class I have done a presentation in front of was about 60-70 students.. but seriously do not let the fact that you have to do presentation deter you in anyway from doing the degree.
