MOMA is always worth a visit, and of course B&H still haven't made it there, then of course go snap happy taking photos

NYC is just one big exhibition so take your camera everywhere. I was there last week and I just walked around with the camera around my neck, I never felt at risk or unsafe. oh yeah, and deffo pay a visit to B&H!

Don't take pictures of bridges - the police might stop/arrest you I hear (some buildings/bridges are trademarked and also terrorism threats apparently result in edgy cops).

Do go visit B&H - I haven't been myself but I really really want to go.

Don't take pictures of other people's children in public (apparently Americans are more sensitive about this than other cultures).

Do post pictures of your trip when you come back for us people who are stuck here to have a look :)

The B&H experience is worth it! Pick me up a Canon 17-55 2.8 while you're there. As others have said every street in NY is a photographers dream. Lots and lots to shoot.
