    Hi ppl,

I've an old (9yr) film camera (Canon EOS 300). It's still a grand camera. Just wondering is there any place that may take it in a "trade in" for a new digitial SLR?

Well, the camera exchange sell a lot of SLRs, and the EOS 300 is a pretty good one [have one meself]

so they might take it. cos people get them for college every year

But trade-ins are always crap money, post it on Ads.ie

How many lenses does it have??

yes... most camera shops will.. but you'll probably get very little for your existing camera.. So little in fact that it'll be worth keeping it instead of trading it in.

Keep your film camera and buy your dslr somewhere where it's alot cheaper.

Plenty of places will take tradeins, but I imagine you'd be doing well to get much more than 80 quid for it. That's about what I was offered on trade in for my 300v.

I just kept it and kept using it.
