Change of reserved ticket

Have a return ticket Cork to Dublin. The return date is March 25th. My mother booked it over the phone and was told she had to give a return date. I want to return tomorrow, just wondering if it is possible to change it or do I have to get a new ticket? Thanks for any info.

You should be able to change it. Go to the Irish Rail website and input you details and I think it gives you an option of changing your booking. Otherwise phone them in the morning.

Note Friday is a peak day for travelling and typically has a different fair structure. I don't think this affects the return part of a ticket though.
