new laptop, ipod help needed

apologies for the lack of computer skills i am about to demonstrate in this thread.... had to get a new laptop a few wks back, my old one gave up the ghost and i havent been able to retrieve the data from my hard drive. when i connect my ipod to the new laptop it tells me that it can only be registered or synched to one…

apologies for the lack of computer skills i am about to demonstrate in this thread....
had to get a new laptop a few wks back, my old one gave up the ghost and i havent been able to retrieve the data from my hard drive. when i connect my ipod to the new laptop it tells me that it can only be registered or synched to one computer at a time, and registering it to my new one will wipe all the songs currently on it. so how do i get my itunes library onto my new laptop? would be a major pain to have to load all those cds again
