Boiler over Fuseboard?

I was asked the other day if it would be okay to site a gas boiler in a 'service' cupboard, up over a fusebox thats knee high. I advised a no-no cos of leaks or servicing etc. But now I'm thinking if the two were separated by fireboard and maybe some tanking on the boiler side..or any other suggestions? Im not up on the regs for this but I would be pretty sure its a dangerous thing. Am I wrong?

I'd say you were right to say no . if the pressure release valve in the boiler went ,the water would pour down on the fuseboard, can you put it to the left or the right of the board to avoid this??

fuse board should not be knee high . that is dangerous . impractical to service

Possibly you could do it if you had a cupboard with the fusebox up the top separated by a shelf and separate door to the rest of the cupboard used for the boiler. Again though, what are the regs on it? Maybe it wouldnt be certified.
