Is the Mosaic law from God or Moses?

Ok, the ten commandments were directly from God. However, what of the Mosaic Law. Jesus referenced 'Moses' granting people divorce not God when he said that only on the grounds of pornea could you be divorced.

    So what reckon yee?

In the Gospels we see that 'Moses' is used as shorthand for Pentateuch - or first five books of the Bible. This can be clearly seen in Mark 7:10 where it says, For "Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother,'" This is attributing a direct quote from the 10 Commandments to 'Moses'.

I guess it would be similar to how we say "Wikipedia says" even where wikipedia is quoting directly from another source.

Or was the Law given to Moses by Angels?

Problem with this is, if you are saying the Law is not of God, and it being of Moses, you are attempting to claim that he is a false prophet. Various times in Torah it indicates that it is the Law of God.

Unless it is referred to as the Law of Moses because he is the one who wrote it down as it was delivered by God?

Not at all. What I was asking, was is the law of God seperate from the law of moses. God literally wrote the 10 comandments, but Moses wrote down the Law. It does not mean that he would be a false prophet, just that he wrote down the law. Do you have a scripture whereby the Mosaic law is referred to as Gods law in the OT? BTW, I'm not saying that this is the case, just asking the question as i wondered about it when reading of Christs mentioning Moses when explaining about divorce.

The Law concerning other things was also revealed on Sinai and in different stages on the journey through prophesy.

A relevant point would be that Leviticus contains more direct words from the mouth of God (as opposed to someone else speaking about God) than any other book in the Bible.
