Does anyone know where I can get my hands on some French Army DPM. I'm getting a tac-vest of icoa.ie and this is the most similar one other than the Irish army one but since that is illegal I figure this will have to do :pac: wakka

Another DPM that looks similar to the Irish cammo is the Slovakian cammo, check it out on youtube. Think it'll be very hard to come by though.Am a Flecktarn fan myself.

French Cammo is also known as Central European Cammo.

French cammo is "Centre Europe", so Central Europe as correctly noted by Rew and abbreviated CCE. Note that there is a Desert variant as well ("Daguet"), dates back to 1991 and the 1st Gulf War.

French BDUs come in two sorts, "F2" for regular army BDUs and "Guérilla" which is used by the Legion, the Paras and some Special Ops teams.

Have a look here for an example of an F2 field jacket in CCE.

I source mine on FR airsoft forums, so not much chance for you if you don't speak the lingo, unfortunately.

And yes, I do have an army-issue pair of F2 CCE trousers in excellent condition, in 38 Regular (S, 76 cm waist) available FS, €20 posted.

A very close, cheaper alternative, is US Army Jungle, "Viet-nam Type 1968/1971" (not tigerstripe). This is the cammo coding for the boonie hat of the guy wearing the Guérilla BDU in the second pic above.

I need to say, all our team is using CCE for more than three years. I collected thru this time more than ten pieces of clothes (bonnie hat included) and IMHO its really good camo for European battlefield, even better than woodland. Little bit problem is with vests, its a quite difficult find good tactical equipment for reasonably prices, but our team boss find source directly in France, so now we can use all stuff. Before we use woodland equipment and its not so bad.
There is picture of my boss before using all French equipment (I haven't my own, I'm little bit shy ;-) ):
