PS3 Sound problems Via HDMI

    Hi,

    I was playing pro evo today and staright after a match the sound just started cutting in and out. I realize it most likely has nothing to do wht the game I was playing bu you never know. The console was not moved nor the cable touched in anyway. It just started happening for apparently no reason.

    However when I switch the connection back to the SCART lead then the sound is perfect and it's not the TV because nothing else is affected, only the PS3 when using the HDMI cable.

    Just wanted to know if anyones had this kind of problem? I will try replacing the cable tomorow but if that doesn't work then does anyone know where to bring/send a PS3 to be repaired?

    Hi,

    Happens to me a good bit. If I fully power on and off my tv it works. Try that.
