A while ago by ZV:M went a bit nuts so I sent it back to creative and got it fixed. Same thing has happened again but this time I'm out of warranty.

When I turn it on theres a small mp3 player icon with an exclamation point, on it. Looks like a warning sign. The player wont start. Ive tried resetting it with a pin. Ive also tried accessing the secret menu to reformat with no luck.

    What are my options ?

Thanks. I remember hearing that everything, legally, comes with a 6 year guarantee regardless of what the company says. Is this true ?

The EU have a minimum length warranty on electronics. I'm not sure what it is, 1 or 2 years. And again, i think some countries can increase it. Might be worth you while to look up some info on it.

The guy on newstalk 'know your rights' show says its 6 years. That sounds very long to me though. I think I might have to concede and buy a new player. As good as creative players are, they will ALWAYS break.

6 years is BS! That would be ridiculous, there wouldn't be an Electronics company still in business :D
