so would anyone be interested? i could pay you something small or buy you lunch if you wish but im not looking to spend major money on this, just want some nice pic's and thought since you guys like taking snaps you might be interested in taking some for me?

im located in dublin or galway. was thinking locations like out side warehouses, under train bridges, underground car parks. maybe you guys know some cool locations?

    cheers barry

Depending on location PaddyMcIrl (think that's his username) takes fantastic motoring photos. Drop him a pm.

I've absolutely no experience but I wouldn't mind tagging along if your in Dublin and this goes ahead. I'm actually thinking about maybe it could be organised as an event for a few people to get together?

I know that M3. Did you buy it from a Brian? I'll take some shots if you want.

Sounds good I would be up for this, I have only snapped the new M3 in the showroom so it was a bit restrictive. I am seeing a multi-story car park as a location possibly aswell as outdoors, maybe down at the harbour at dusk in Balbriggan Darren?

I am indeed. He always took great care of his cars so I know you got a stunning M3 there.

There are some great spots in Balbriggan. Have to say I prefer car shots at sunrise but that might be a bit early for some.

If neither the OP nor the photographer mind it would be nice to see some of the results of this?

Currently working on some car related stuff myself for a comic book style shoot i am planning. Think Sin City/Deathproof style and you will see where i am going with Photoshop.

i know someone who bought an M5 (could have been an M3, but i think it was an M5) and did 25k worth of damage to it the day after he bought it. that's what you get when you put the power down on a bend in a stupidly powerful rear wheel drive car and you're used to front wheel drive cars.

i laughed like a drain when i heard.

Thats one nice M3 you got there. Always wanted to get some shots of my E36 but never seem to find the time.

Well it's the weekend and I'm off to clean mine out and fix that crack in the bumper.
