    Hey,
Just a question for you... I was looking for another auction site and came across eBid .net . Im just wondering if anyone here has used it and if so what was it a good or bad experience? Theres an item on it i want (dvd) but dont want to be scammed. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Never heard anything about them, but they pay for advertising here

If you're buying from someone there, makes sure to use a secure payment method, like Paypal, and not cash by Western Union or Bank Transfer as there's no come back on either of these. Apart from that, there's not a lot you can do and there'll always be some risk in sending money to someone you don't know personally.

My beef about Ebid is/was that as a seller, for the same IDENTICAL 47 auctions, I got not a single bid via Ebid, loads through Ebay. You could see several of the auctions on both sites in a Google search acouple of days after they were uploaded.

It's a pity for Ebid, because the site works well, takes a fraction of the time to use than Ebay, and they do charge less for selling stuff.

Regarding scams, I'd say you've got to take your chances whichever site you use. I'll keep going until the first time I get caught.

A 3 year old thread doesn't need a bump like this. Start a new thread or let it go.
