Damn it, why did I only see this now. Also working tomorrow night, so wouldnt be able to attend, so I'll have to console myself by watching it before work at home, after I've had to buy it.

Ah if only I listened to the radio. And lived in Dublin. And wanted to see that. Muse are class but I've seen loads of clips on youtube as well as mtv2 live so I know the score with them. No offence.

That dvd is class. Really wish I could have seen it on big screen.

Played the cd part up full on my stereo thing when I got home, stuff started falling off the walls.

Started watchin dvd after work, its really good. Love the Behind the Scenes bit, specially their faces when being dragged along under the walkway. Piy ya cant hear the first line of Invincible too well. But hey, I liked it, wish I didnt have exams at the time, would have gone myself.

Gonna buy this today........anyone know if they have any plans to tour? Know they're headling the V fest in England, but that seems to be it

i wouldnt rule it out, other gigs are planned around a similar time as V festival, but i do think its unlikely if they dont have a new album released by the summer to tour

Might fly down to Borders now and pick up a copy. :)

How much did you all pay for it? Saw it in Tower for 28.99, just wondering if it's cheaper elsewhere?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,117 ✭✭✭✭MrJoeSoap

No sign of it in Borders, Zavvi or HMV in Blanchardstown.

Bought it yesterday and have to say it's a massive disappointment. It sounds like it was recorded in a studio in a couple of days, far too polished. Also the setlist was rubbish (just 1 song from first album and mostly filler from the new album).

Their live release 'Hullabaloo' from 2002 is much much better

Anyone else find that this is just like Hullabaloo in the sense that the CD is a tad dissapointing but the DVD is great?

Yeah, I did find it too polished, but hey, its still a cool dvd. Its the tracklisting thats disappointing, the actualt setlists forthe gigs were great. Why the hell do they leave off Bliss and Citizen Erased? Two of their best songs just ignored, and Citizen Erased again!

As for touring, there was a post somewhere around boards recently with Matt saying they should be playing Dublin and Belfast, aswell as the V Fest, and thats it really. It'd be part of Bud Rising I'd say if it does happen(although prob hope Weezer get that bit).

Yeah its a dissapointment they left those 2 out, but the production quality of the DVD is amazing, real top-notch stuff. Made me wish I starting listening to Muse before and not after that gig!

just got this today and i can only really fault it on one thing.

as a instrument player live dvd's always let me down a little cause it never focuses in on the instrument playing at the good parts and when it finally does it's for like 1 second then pans to some nab in the audience.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,919 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Hopefully I'll be getting my hands on this now when I go to lunch.

A little disappointed with the set list alright. As mentioned, no 'Citizen Erased' or 'Bliss' which are two of my favourite live tracks. No 'Muscle Museum' or 'Sunburn' either. I'd have preferred any of these to the likes of 'Hoodoo'. Really glad to see 'Blackout' on it though.

Can't wait to see them live again (for the 7th time!)

Just watched it from start to finish. Obviously no Citizen Erased is devestating, but everything thats on it is quality. Really liked Stockholm Syndrome and Butterflies and Hurricanes especially.

Too many audience shots on the dvd but it's very good regardless.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,919 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Yeah enjoyed it a lot, mainly cause it's Muse. A little too much tweaking in the studio for me though and not enough footage of the Supermassive Blackhole robots!

Why did they leave out Citizen Erased? I was at the gig and that was the best song by a long shot, it was just perfect, best ive ever seen it and ive seen them live around 6/7 times now (the highlight was the ******* a few years back, amazing)
