Does it matter who guarantees the money.Celtic poker can still fiddle the prizepool.Dont mind any one supporting the tipp gaa but its hard with celtic poker involved.

I never doubted the integrity of the anyone involved on gaa part.Its just celtic poker dont have a good reputation on this forum in general.Many different reasons, how they run it etc....

I dont mean to attack the tournament as i take part in Gaa in the county.I may support the tournament depending on circumstances.

Think its a great move by the organising committee to go down this route to try and collect a few euro but as has already been said I cant see how the GAA is to make money out of this unless the "fiddle" is toned down from the people that are running it!!
I make out that with a field of 120 (which is no mean feat to gather at €200 + €20 reg) would need to play with a 50% rebuy / top up spend. Only after this number does the GAA start to begin to fill its coffers.
I do tend to think that there will be a sustained CPT following anyway and with the GAA involved they might get another 25/30 runners so the field looks like about 120/135.
Not much of a return for such a risky sum being guaranteed first day!
Unless of course CPT are giving the GAA a percentage of the cash game rake:D

And had a little word with the guy, "Im ahead and I just want the blinds" he replys " I know your ahead but I gotta call, I have an Ace...!!!)

doesn't matter how savage the value in these fields, there is a huge amount of luck required to get trough the last 6-7 tables with an average stack of 10 or less bb.. Race after Race needed to win..
