Get this if you have a freeloader. Get it and a freeloader if you don't. Like I said in another thread, since the Sunday morning midnight release, I've put 26 hours into the wretched thing already.
The ability to customise your controls and use a d-pad make it so much more satisfying for me than Melee. And Meta Knight is bonkers good :D

Oh, and the Adventure mode is really good fun, and a nice way to unlock things. And that meself and the missus can play the entire thing in co-op is the best of all.

As far as I know online works fine but the With Anyone match-ups are against Americans only so you can expect plenty of lag.

My copy's on the way but the way things are looking I'll have it sitting there long before Freeloader arrives.

Nah Mario kart is coming out soon, Ill wait till the summer to this one, trust me im looking forward to it but im sure it would distract me from the leaving cert...

Well, I have a US Wii, so I don't need a freeloader. Online isn't working well for me, but I think it's my router :( I keep getting disconnected, and even when I don't the lag is enough to remove the fun. I get these problems in World in Conflict on the PC, too :/

Are you in the Us Balfa? thats annoying that the online is not working properly for you

Yeah, I am. I haven't tried online in a while. Had plenty to keep me going without that ;)

Only played it in SP so far. It seems good, if a little easy on normal difficulty (finished classic mode without any hassle first time) That's a moot point really though, seeing as there are a few more notches of difficulty...

Looking forward to playing it the way it should be played - with a couple of mates and a load of cans:)

It's not your router, everyone worldwide is having the same problems. the best way to play online is by inviting friends, which is annoing considering how retarded the friend code system is, loads of people are having trouble connecting to random matches.

Yeah, I haven't really done any forum searches or anything about it cos, like I said, I'm getting enough out of it for the time being without online battles... but that sounds like a bummer. Hopefully it's just teething problems with their online service.

I'm going to bump this because I think this game deserves far more discussion. I'm absolutely loving it even more so than Melee. The character balancing is excellent and there is a massive variety in characters and how they play with very few clones this time around. The amount of extra modes to mess around with is brilliant. Had great fun tonight just playing around with the stage builder and unlocking me stuff. Pity I'll have to use the twilight hack to continue playing it, American version unfortunately. I could go on a lot more about how much I love this game but it's late.

One big problem. YOu can't copy save games to an SD card and I've noticed the same for Mario Kart. Had a Wii party in a friends house recently and wasn't able to bring my save games wit me. Looks like I'll be dragging my own wii in as usual, he only got his to give me a break from lugging it into town :)

Ye its such a brillaint game, my friend bought a Jap Wii for it plus a few naruto games that are never going to come out here. I love the game. However i think its easier to knock people out than in the old on the GC .

P.S For entertainment value it can not be beaten when your playing with 4 mates.
