Allright lads, I'm off to the States for a week on Monday and just wanted to ask a few questions on the games.

    1) The games are for all around the world aren't they? So I could get games over there?

And is there any price difference over there?
    Will they be cheaper?
    Thanks

I presume you mean Xbox 360, but no, the games aren't all region free. With the 360 the console itself isn't region locked, it's up to the publishers of the game if the make their game region free or not. There are a few lists online, but off the top of my head a handy place to check is http://www.play-asia.com
Just select 360 then (on the left) select Region Free versions.

http://www.videogamesplus.ca also have a blog (linked on the left somewhere) where they post updates on new games, they'll try the American games out on a PAL 360 and see if they work, then they post an update on the blog, so a useful place to check for new games.

Yes they will be cheaper but not all games are region free.

Have a look at that list or just google it yourself. I'd go over with a list of games rather then just picking something up on the spot as it may not work when you get home.

    Be careful now!

Last time my fam went over I got them to get me PGR4, Orange Box, Bioshock, a few controllers, chatpad etc....

Just pick out whatever games you see on playasia that are region free and have a list, at the same time another handy thing to know is ALL Ubisoft games are region free (Rainbow six vegas2, assasins creed)

Will all the controllers work if I was to bring them back ?
Want to get a wireless headset as well while I'm out.
