Yupsies, they're making it themselves. RS quality gear in airsoft. This is why I'm hopeful of an interchangeable barrel. I doubt anyone else would have bothered with including that feature. But since it's one of their prides in that gun, they may carry it over.

I assume you mean interchangeable length barrels, but interchangeable for 6mm/8mm, now that would be interesting

i just assumed he meant the barrel length..smart idea tho KD, very lateral thinking...

not too sure i want to see 8mm at 20 rds per second, they look like friggen footballs in comparison to 6mm..:eek:

they're not that bad, they may be bigger but they still impart the same energy, of course changing for 8mm would mean changing the hopup unit aswell, and i'm not sure what effect it would have with a smaller air nozzle if it would be able to fire 8mm bbs effectively

This would mirror the Masadas ability in rs to be easily converted from firing 5.56mm to 7.62mm rounds by changing barrels and receivers?

I think this is what KD and Dex are driving at.

So if you get hit by a 6mm bb shout hit and put your hand up as normal when you get hit by the 8mm fall over theatrically to reflect the added stopping power of the simulated 7.62 mm round

hahah yes yer man in future weapons has yet to find a dud weapon...he did a comparison between the rounds on one episode its on youtube also.

would be cool tho to change it to 8mm..not too sure how the joule limit would work out then...but i suppose that and issue for magpul..

I agree they look cool but barrel change etc is not really a factor for me either. I think cost and the logisitics of importing one will mean its an aspirational future purchase for me.

If CA, VFC, ICS decide to make one then its a different story.

well i think i will hold out for a vfc with the crane stock as i hate peq boxes...i think there is a mod company selling on wgcshop the crane stock...but it aint cheap...

it looks like an aimpoint magnifier but it slung on the side not twisted off...

anyone ever see anything like that for airsoft?

Fraid not thats the aimpoint magnifier with a QD mount (twists and comes off) these have been available for a while. In the vid its the Eotech magnifier with a flip aside mount. I reckon there's no odds for airsoft on which clone magnifier you get but the flip aside mount is the cool bit. With a qd mount twist and you stick the magnifier in a pouch or pocket and try not to get shot

With the flip aside mount you just flip aside and you have a regular CQB dot site. Even handier when you want long range just flip it back as opposed to fishing around in pouches and pockets.

Importance for an airsoft skirmish meh ..... perhaps not so much but thats not the point I still want a flip aside mount

yep i think a vfc 416 is my next port of call...however it looks like you have to get a spring mod as it straddles the 1J rule coming in between 320 and 330 fps..bugger...so i am going to ask wgc will they mod the gearbox to put a guaranteed below 1J spring in it.


of course then comes the masada...but i am betting here that its price will be up in systema levels...over a grand. i have no proof for that but they dont strike me as the cheap chinese build type of company and having fondled (legally i might add) nhedges systema m4....all i can say is...mmmmhhhh

Just got word that Element will release thier version of the Flip to side mount that the Airsoft community has been waiting for.

Im watching my inbox for exclusive photos but I do know that these will be out in March. According to my contacts the first batch has already been bought out by http://ebaybanned.com and the retail price of these should be around 20 to 25 USD including shipping.

Also http://ebaybanned.com has the new versions of both the 552 551 Eotech replicas with improved finished that matches the real Eotech and also 100% adjustable no ghosting and not made by Element!!!!

most excellent find...i am doing the hopup mod but a tracer unit would be a nice easy way of doing it to all my other aegs...the flip mount for 25 dollars...jeeze i will be over that like a mad thing...


just checked ebaybanned...he has a 416 front piece. i saw on wgc the 416 metal body...hell i might make my own...

I've used them half a dozen times without any bother, delivery can be anything from 2-4 weeks.
You can mail the owner, Paul, for a tracking numberonce the order has shipped.

no flip up or tracer on the site yet but I usually keep a close eye on that site so I'll let you know............... after I place my own order of course

+1 to ebaybanned I have used them a lot no complaints even when things have gone pear shaped with an order they have always responded well.

It's not a mod. It's under 1J. And Tony does them.
