Hey guys, say I buy an average 2001/2001 BMW for €12,000 and do on avergage 10k miles a year, and it suffers the normal wear and tear, what could I expect the depreciation to be per annum? Also at around what price does it become worthwhile to import a car from the North? Thanks

Will it be a 3/5/7 series? What engine size? What fuel type?
The bigger ones lose money more quickly as do saloon 3 series compared to coupés.
You could check using Carzone and this would give an idea.
Bear in mind that with the new VRT & tax rules coming into force and presumably affecting existing cars in the next year or so, values of used cars will more than likely drop.
