Another question: the €250 side event is advertised on this thread as having a 30 minute clock, and on the Big Slick website as a 40 minute clock - which is correct? There was a group of us planning to travel for the festival but I doubt they'll leave Dublin for a 30 minute clock TBH.

I went to this last night and i have to have a bit of a whinge, I havent played live since the team event and after this experiance i think it'll be a long time again

. No complaints about the tournament, fast structure but we knew that my AA dogged by 78 ah sure.

Ventured over to a cash table the 1-2nlhe, games started with 4 players bought in for 150E nothin happening till the tournament goes on a break and they permit guys still in the tournament to buy in for 20E ( everyone else at the table had 100-200 )and chuck it in every hand causeing mayhem, now i have no problem gambling with said fools but it ruins the game if they hit and run with a big chunk after the 5 minute break. absolutely ridiculous imo this needs to be looked at.

So then my phone does a lot of beeping, texts messages coming thru and im warned not to pick up the phone or my hand is dead, fair enough club rules no problem. about an hour later all the beeping has stopped and there is a raise into me, i sqeeze AK and throw out a re-raise someone mentions the time so i pick my phone up to check and the new dealer kills my hand. Cue a major rant and giving out. F***in joke imo. For godsake some common sense wouldnt go amiss

So basically depending on who is at the table either anything goes or they are very strict. I stayed to play as i was stuck, recovered my money and left.

Really wouldnt encourage me to return for cash games anyway.

Specific directions to the majestic? Their website is rubbish for directions. It says it is near the beach and in Tramore. Great.

Just go through the little roundabout going into Tramore and its there 1min away on the right hand side afaik, you cant miss it.
