    US aeroplane drops chaff device

People are advised not to approach the device
A US Air Force transport plane has accidentally dropped a Chaff Module - which throws up metal filaments to fool missiles - while flying over the UK.
The MC130H aircraft, which is part of the special operations group at RAF Mildenhall, Suffolk, was flying around the coast of the UK.

A Suffolk Police spokesman said anyone who sees it should not approach it but should contact their local force.

People are advised not to use their mobile phones near the device.
