Alternatives to hen parties?

I'm MoH for my cousin later this year so am assuming the hen 'activities' are down to me! The thing is, my cousin isn't much of a partyhead so I know she wouldn't appreciate L-plates and strippers. The other problem is that she doesn't really have many close friends (coupley thing that seems to happen to lots of people!) and she has said she's not really that bothered about pretending to have a good time with a bunch of girls she hasn't seen in months because they all can't be ar$ed with each other.

That said, I don't think her wedding should pass without some kind of small celebration before it so any ideas of what I can organise for her/where I can take her?

What about doing some activity like paintball/horse riding/go carting first and then go for a meal and a drink. alot of people arent in to the whole hen night thing so its not unusual.

Ah there are loads of things you could do without leaving the occasion pass. It would be a shame for her not to do something, even something small. Why not go away somewhere nice for the day and I agree with the activity and nice meal idea. You dont have to go mad afterwards but really would be such a shame not to have a hen. My cousin sent me this link recently, they have lots of nice ideas www.hen-party.ie. Or there are places like Posh Fizz that might be able to give you some nice ideas as well.
    Good luck
