    Hi all,

Irish Cheltenham tragic here living down in Melbourne at the moment very annoyed about the fact that i can't find anywhere in the city to watch any of the races live

i was hoping that somebody might be able to tell me where i could watch all of the racing online - all of my current gambling bankroll is currently with Ladbrokes but despite being told that i could get the races streamed with them, it doesn't appear to say anything on their site (i don't have accounts with vc or tote)

i'm sure there's somewhere online (maybe through certain people's cousins or live streaming etc?) that might have it but i can't find it

could anyone please help :-) (feel free to PM if it's an address that you can't post)

    many thanks for the help

    all the best

    lc

afaik with ladbrokes, pp, boyles, etc you have to have a bet on the race (think its min €10) and the streaming will then start as soon as the race does. Open to correction but I think this is how it works.

with ladbrokes your IP address has to be from Ireland or Uk to stream last i checked, paddys is open to everyone, dunno about boyles never bet there due to the shocking prices they usually have

anyone got any last ditch ideas to get me in before the champion hurdle?

with pp its a min bet of 2.50 e/w

Betfair do something similar where you get a stream when you place a bet. Not sure how much it is though.

Whats the story with this feed?
Is it online already? Only getting a loading clip on the video panel, no errors or timeouts.

It's been on since 12:30 when Channel 4's programme started.

What was that interview with the young lad about before the 1:30 there?

"I don't know what to say.... I don't know what to say"

Way to think on your feet mate

Not that lads fault.Channel 4 want to interview everybody and anybody. It's a ridiculous policy from them. These stable lads/lasses and others are not used to being in front of a camera and asked idiotic questions by total gobsh1tes and some of them are nervous. Why they can't just stick to interviewing the trainer and jockey of the winning horse I'll never know.Even those interviews can be painful viewing at times but some people want to hear them. These other interviews just make the viewers and interviewees uncomfortable.I suppose Channel 4 have to find something for all their presenters to do.To be honest they could easily ditch Alice Plunkett and Lesley Graham and probably Thommo although I know some people enjoy his amateur and juvenile approach.

Justin.tv is the best one to watch as office firewalls will block out the way rte is set up in alot of offices according to my IT manager at work. Cheering on Sizing Europe without shouting my head off was tough. Thankfully i have the rest of the week off so feet up and telly on for me. :D

Paddypower has a minimum of €1 per race and then you can stream it live

you have to watch whatever chanell the broadcaster is on, Its basically hooked up to his satellite box and then he streams it online to share but if he changes chanell then you have to watch what he is watching. Hope you can understand my waffling, lol

Ok, Im in france and had all the above issues with trying to view on racking uk, paddy power etc. All of them denied viewing video if outside of the UK or Ireland.

So the best solution I found is to signup for a justin.tv pro account for $9.99 a month, then do a search in the search bar for chelthnam and you have about 3 options there. It now working like a dream on the laptop. Also I downloaded the justin.tv iPhone app on the iPad and x2 the resolution to have the video play live on the iPad. Its a pretty solid connection too. Im on a poor 7mb connection

Hope this helps people in Oz and elsewhere around the globe :)
$9.99 well spent n the subscription. This isnt an ad btw and I dont work or justin tv. just sayin

Myp2p.eu give you acess to hundreds of "justin tv" style broadcasters for free. Looks like you got sniped for $9.99 a month!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 41 Yeager101

looks like i did get sniped. BUT, I checked that website out earlier and it sent me t websites where I had to signup and it didnt look likely that there would be a free stream thereafter. Ill be canceling the membership after the fest. Have to say its pretty cool been able t watch on the ipad though.
9.99 usd is a small amount to pay though. Some poor ailing but well funded company like justin.tv could really do with that money is how you have to look at it. :)
