Recently started to exercise more regularly, in particular lifting weights. Now I've seem to have developed on or exacerbated a lower back problem. What kind of specialist do I need to see? Really don't want to stop exercising as my gains have been small but significant.

Sports physio would be my first port of call. Get them to check for imbalances/tightness in specific areas to see if that's what's causing it.

Physio should be able to sort you out...

EDIT: Hanley got there before me!!

What exercises have you been doing? Have you been given instruction?
