[RANT]I wish I had made an EDDIE OUT! banner for the game on saturday. Just look at this quote from him after the game: "I just do the same thing, get on with the job."Link

Thats just it eddie, you do the same aul ****e everytime and pick the same aul ****e regardless of form or need. He should have been sacked after the world cup and he should be sacked now. His achievments can be put into perspective when we look at the "opposition" for his triple crown wins. One of the worst English teams ever, A mess of a welsh side and less said about scotland the better. No grandslam, no six nations win. The closest we came was losing on points difference to france despite having played both france and england at home in that season. His lack of imagination and reluctanace to accept change has meant that he is now a dead duck. The players have lost faith in him and so have the fans.

If anyone has the misfortune of having a ticket for the imminent massacre in Twickenham then please bring your eddie out banner with you. [/RANT]

I reckon he'll be gone, do the IRFU have the coffers to pay his 3 years, as well as hire a new coach + the cost genesis recommendations...

Tom McGurk, a man not noted for his words of wisdom, asked the panel if the reason Kearney was the only player to play on his wits and to try something different was because he hadn't been around EOS long enough to have his instincts severely curtailed. The panel were a bit startled by the question, but I think McGurk got it absolutely spot on.
The control EOS has over the team is unreal. It can't have escaped the notice of the guys on the field that a different tactic had to be tried as the 2nd half progressed. But orders are orders, and if the general is wearing blinkers, that that's just our tough s**t.

Also in fairness to McGurk; during yesterdays match he said EOS should go when Pope and O'Shea were too scared to say it.

Yeah pope got a bit upset when McGurk pushed him on it. McGurk was right pundits are there to give their opinion and anyone in their right mind can see that eddie should be turfed out. McGurk's a lege.
